Sapa is located in Lao Cai province, about 350km to the Northwest of Hanoi, inclose proximity to Chinese border. Famous for its terraced rice fields and highlands, Sapa is a quied mountain town and home to a great diversity of ethnic minority peoples and close to Vietnam's highest peak, Fasipan Mount.


A visit to Sapa can be as relaxing or as energetic as you choose to make it. You can just walking in villages, talking with local people and enjoy the scenery, or do trekking to the deep forests and high mountains…. You’ll find that Sapa offers the ideal spot to do either.

Sapa is known to have one of the best climate in the North Vietnam, annual temperature is around 16°c. With its attractive continental climate, health authorities believed the site had potential. Jacket and sport shoes are suitable for light treks and hiking boots are recommended for hard treks. Mosquito repellents are highly appreciated.
